Employee Health and Wellness Coordinator

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department is seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Employee Health and Wellness Coordinator.

This City-County funded position is responsible for oversight of comprehensive wellness program:  develop, plan, coordinate, market, implement, and evaluate evidence-based programs and initiatives, activities, and information designed to improve individual lifestyle habits and health status of City of Lincoln and Lancaster County employees and their families.  Duties involve planning, organizing, and overseeing health education, fitness, wellness and engagement programs to meet organizational goals and priorities.  Develops and implements the Health and Wellness Program marketing plan. Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice-Community Nutrition & Health Promotion

The Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking to fill a non-tenure track nine-month (academic year) Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice faculty position to coordinate and teach in undergraduate and graduate programs in community nutrition, health, wellness and health promotion. The primary responsibilities of this position include collaboration with the primary teaching areas in the department; teach courses related to community nutrition, health promotion and related topics; and participate in faculty service activities. This position will be fully engaged in the on-going process of curriculum revision and development to meet the changing needs of the workforce. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in student education in the classroom and in the community, interest in online teaching, and a desire to join a growing and vibrant department in which innovation in student education is expected. Service is expected and will include participation in student recruitment and retention activities, committee assignments, reporting responsibilities, and other special ad hoc assignments as requested at the Department, College, and University level. Executive Director, Family Planning Council of Nebraska

The primary charge to the Executive Director will be to ensure agency programs, like Title X, are
developed to the highest standards possible, to focus on effective advocacy and communications
with providers, stakeholders and supporters, while building and mobilizing support for the FPCNE
agenda. They will need to strike a fine balance — assuring continuous oversight of the organization
and programs while developing and adapting the strategy and policies necessary for growth and
