Three Rivers Public Health Department in Fremont, NE is seeking to fill several positions. Two are full time positions: Public Health Disease Investigator and Public Health Data Analyst.

The Public Health Disease Investigator will assist the Disease Surveillance Coordinator in program development, routine surveillance, and other grant activities. The position provides additional capacity during outbreak investigations, special projects, and special studies. The purpose of the work is to assist the Disease Surveillance Coordinator in routine and outbreak investigations as well as assure the coordination and timely completion of grant activities. The Public Health Data Analyst will be responsible for designing and implementing the data systems needed to support regional decision-making and problem-solving, this position requires someone with the ability to analyze and present the data by making it understandable to health department staff, public officials and the general communities served. Senior Performance Measure Specialist

NEHII, the Nebraska Health Information Initiative is seeking a Sr Performance Measure Specialist.

Position Summary:

The Senior Performance Measure Specialist is responsible for overseeing development of performance measures at NEHII. The position includes exploratory analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and coordination of measure testing, including the assessment, validation, and data management of measures. This role will ensure evidence-based, innovative quality and population-focused analysis and reporting on quality, risk, utilization, cost, and clinical measures through the use of, but not limited to, regulatory specifications, benchmarking, trending, opportunity analysis and predictive modeling. The position will work in a team environment to design, develop, and execute the transformation of data into an informed performance measurement plan.

On August 13th, Governor Gavin Newsom announced that Kaiser Permanente has committed $63 million in grant funding to the Public Health Institute (PHI) to strengthen and support California’s contact tracing efforts in clinical settings. PHI’s Tracing Health program, which has successfully deployed contact tracing teams in Oregon and Washington, will pivot to California, where they will embed teams into clinics based in high-need and targeted communities. PHI’s Tracing Health program will hire, train and deploy approximately 500 full-time, culturally and linguistically competent clinically based team members. Collectively, they will be able to contact up to 5,500 people per day….”..”

PHI is continuing to hire for contact tracers, supervisors, resource coordinators and scientific staff (data analysts, epidemiologists, and research supervisors) for the program.
