On behalf of the University of Michigan Survey Research Center, Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking Part-Time Field Interviewers to work on a research study, the Baby’s First Years project.
The objective of the Baby’s First Years project is to examine the impact of a large unconditional cash transfer on family life and brain development among very young children living in poverty. The sample includes 1000 infants and their mothers in four U.S. cities. New mothers were first interviewed in the hospital shortly after giving birth. The Age 1 Interview is the first of three yearly follow-ups. Each interview will be completed in-person during a visit to the mother’s home. Interviewers will collect information about the child’s health and general developmental milestones, brain function, as well as information about family life — income, housing, family activities, maternal health.
