Nutrition Educator, WIC Program

Central District Health Department is seeking a Nutrition Educator for their WIC Program.

Performs a variety of interdisciplinary assignments including, but not limited to: teach nutritional and other health education topics. Evaluate/assess health trends and risk factors of individual/family through data collection and analysis, tracking and reporting.  Determine food package of WIC participants; issue and explain the use of WIC vouchers to new clients; assist supervisor and coworkers as needed; keep informed of the latest nutritional science and stay current on the WIC program at various levels of government.  Works with specific population groups through health promotion and disease prevention activities; participates in assessing and evaluating health care services to ensure that people are informed of available programs and services; provides health education and care management to individuals and families who are members of vulnerable populations and high risk groups. Health Data Coordinator

The Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Clinical Trials Office is seeking a Health Data Coordinator to be responsible for the collection and review of clinical protocol research data; Interpretation of data (including appropriate source documentation) for entry into computerized databases; Creation of data definitions and case report forms and other information related to data collection for clinical research. Provide support to the clinical study coordinators through data collection, scheduling, research protocol management, and other administrative duties.

Data Quality Monitor

The Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Clinical Trials Office is seeking a Data Quality Monitor to implement a quality assurance strategy to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. Develop and implement detailed audit plans and SOP’s, managing the internal auditing functions consistent with GCP/GMP requirements. Responsible for the process that verifies data collected is accurate and reliable. Serves as a content expert. Ensure all processes contributing to the performance of the clinical trials are conducted in accordance with ICH/GCPguidelines to ensure high quality and integrity of the research data.

(501c3) organization, created by LB361, is a voluntary membership
organization dedicated to improving patient safety in Nebraska hospitals.
NCPS is one of 85 federally designated Patient Safety Organizations in the
US. The Executive Director is responsible for the day to day operation and
implementation of the goals and objectives of NCPS in support of its mission
to continuously improve the safety and quality of healthcare delivery in the
region.
