Program Supervisor, Creighton HS-MACA

Creighton University is seeking a Program Supervisor to supervise the coordination of the Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC) Grant along with Health Sciences – Multicultural & Community Affairs (HS-MACA) Pipeline Programs and Education Activities.  

Responsibilities for this role will include: 

  • Serve as COPC coordinator, prepare updates/annual reports, assist evaluation specialist with instruments, maintain database, plan and organize weekly Common Ground lunch program, assist with tutor training, recruit and monitor student researchers, serve as member of COPC scholarship committee.
  • Research new grant opportunities, assist with grant writing activities, assist with grant budgeting activities.
  • Supervise Pipeline Programs, manage data, assist with planning departmental events. Assist with education activities (electives) and CHA Training.
  • Develop newsletters on a quarterly basis.

Data Manager/Coordinator

Creighton University is seeking a Data Manager/Coordinator to help collect and manage data so that it can be used to analyze business functions, productivity, and redundancies for evaluation.  The individual will assist the Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) Pipeline to Success Program Supervisor with data tracking and the development of evaluation instruments.  Will report to the Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) Pipeline to Success Program Supervisor.

This role under the direction of the Program Supervisor and Program Director, the Data Manager/Coordinator coordinates and conducts program activities that provide data to support and enhances decision-making, strategic planning, outcomes assessment, grant guidelines and external reporting; serves as liaison between department and other constituents. Perform data entry, runs reports, verifies the integrity of data and reports issues.  Designs, develops and implements moderately complex database applications to accommodate a variety of user needs.

To complete these tasks, the Data Manager/Coordinator will; (1) monitor and maintain research database; (2) perform quantitative descriptive, bivariate, multivariate, qualitative analyses (e.g., focus group, content analysis), and mixed methods research; (3) work independently and collectively on program-specific assessment projects; (4) complete data reports that are conducive to both Creighton University and HRSA; (5) meet with partners and other program entities routinely to ensure collection of data is thorough, precise and complete and; (6) extracts, manipulates, and reports data to internal and external constituencies; manages data; prepares and maintains data files; verifies data to ensure data integrity; (7) acquires, manipulates, develops, and maintains longitudinal data sets, verifying accuracy and consistency over time; writes documentation for programs and operations; (8) designs and develops standardized operational, management, and ad hoc reports; prepares reports fulfilling the requirements of federal, regional, and state agencies and other external organizations; works with user community to understand reporting needs; identifies sources; (9) serves as a resource person in areas of data management and reporting, as well as a representative on committees; performs special projects and other duties as assigned and; (10) complete other job duties as assigned by the Program Director or Program Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

Research Intern, Reproductive Health Access Project

The Reproductive Health Access Project (RHAP) is a national nonprofit organization based in New York City that trains and supports clinicians to make reproductive health care accessible to everyone. RHAP focuses on three key areas: abortion, contraception, and miscarriage care. We are looking for a highly-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Research Intern. This position is remote, part-time (hours flexible), and paid. The internship duration is from May to September. 

The Research Intern will work with the Research and Evaluation Manager to support an evaluation of the Reproductive Health Access Network (the Network). The Network is a national initiative bringing together like-minded primary care clinicians across the US to work together nationally and in their respective communities to expand access to abortion, contraception, and miscarriage care in their clinical and teaching practices. This position will support a project to evaluate the impact of the Network and to generate recommendations on how to build Network leadership and engagement. 

Responsibilities:

The Research Intern will play a key role in ensuring that RHAP meets its short and long-term research and evaluation goals. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented self-starter to support a large and growing national initiative. This position is also ideal for someone looking to complete a master’s level practicum and/or capstone project. The primary role of the Research Intern is to lead in the collection, analysis, and synthesis of data for the evaluation of the Network.
