Data Manager/Coordinator

This position is 100% grant funded. 
 

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; Master’ Degree preferred;
2-4 years related experience in database or system management;

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Excellent analytical and organizational skills;
Knowledge of data gathering methodology and data input, management communications, networking, and analysis; 
Knowledge of relational databases and SPSS;
Knowledge of descriptive statistics, statistical software, reporting tools, including Microsoft Office programs;
Competence in one or more programming languages a plus (such as VBA, PHP, Excel Macros);
Ability to develop Web-based surveys;
Ability to understand the data needs of users and produce reports;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community;
Ability to maintain confidentiality;
Service oriented;
Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday work; 
Ability to function effectively as a team member, while exercising independent and critical judgment;
Ability to prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented environment;
