Data Analyst

Creighton University is seeking a Data Analyst. The data analyst will help collect and manage data so that it can be used to analyze business functions, productivity, and redundancies for evaluation. The individual will also assist the Pipeline to Success Program Supervisor with data tracking and the development of evaluation instruments. Will report to the Pipeline to Success Program Supervisor.

Responsibilities will include:
• Obtains and enters data into databases; maintains and updates databases. Directly responsible for tracking and keeping all electronic records up to date. Manage the ongoing evaluation and feedback of programs. Assist Evaluation specialist with reports
• Prepares and generates reports using data maintained in departmental databases; writes computer programs used to analyze data; analyzes and interprets data and reports in collaboration with Evaluation Specialist.
• Assists staff and or faculty members in analyzing data for the purposes of planning and conducting research.
• Develops a social media presence and brochures. Prepares and distributes newsletters
• Assists with the recruitment, interviewing and selection of Pipeline to Success students and faculty.
Will assist in coordinating and providing administrative support as well.

Statistical Analyst III

Under limited supervision, conduct parts of statistical data analyses, perform data collection activities, interpret information, and design methodologies for reporting Medicaid analytics. Will contribute to data interpretation and mapping for data conversion. Will contribute input on methodologies for studies, as expertise allows. Other duties as assigned. Participate on a team in a service driven culture to provide accurate, timely, actionable data. Conduct statistical analysis on Medicaid claims and eligibility data, assimilate multiple data sources into usable analyses for DHHS leadership and stakeholders. Contribute to presentations in a multitude of formats for audiences including agency staff, health industry executives, and public consumers using established mathematical methods and innovative mediums. Collaborate on joint projects with other divisions’ analytics teams to serve the State’s most vulnerable populations though informed decision making and service provider accountability. Contribute to Division, State, and Federal reports according to specifications to appropriate reporting authorities. 

ASPPH Fellowships

Since 1995, Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) Fellowship Programs have contributed to efforts to build an effective public health workforce by placing public health graduate students in federal agency offices in the US and around the world. Under the guidance of mentors, participants experience first-hand how to apply public health theory and knowledge in practical settings. ASPPH fellows train in areas such as monitoring and surveillance, program management, research, evaluation, informatics, statistics, epidemiology, environmental health, and policy while making meaningful contributions to important public health programs.

GIS Support Technician

Incumbent works under the direction of the Douglas County Assessor/Register of Deeds, Manager of the Geographic Information System (GIS) department, or designee, performing GIS support functions involving the preparation and annual maintenance of a cadastral map system and analysis of legal descriptions.
