ASPPH Fellowships

Applications are currently being accepted for two ASPPH Fellowship Programs:

  • ASPPH/CDC Public Health Fellowship Program (Deadline: Thursday, 01/28/2021)
  • ASPPH/EPA Environmental Health Fellowship Program (Deadline: Thursday, 02/11/2021)

The ASPPH/CDC Public Health Fellowship Program offers opportunities for early-career public health professionals by enabling them to train at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on a variety of high-priority public health issues. ASPPH/CDC Public Health Fellows work closely with nationally recognized experts within the nation’s premier health promotion, prevention, and preparedness agency and global leader in public health. Fellowship assignments will be based at CDC Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The fellowship positions are full-time training opportunities for one year beginning in early-July 2021.

The ASPPH/ U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Environmental Health Fellowship Program offers outstanding opportunities for early-career public health professionals by enabling them to train at the EPA on high-priority environmental, public health issues. Program participants will train closely under nationally recognized experts within the premier environmental health agency in the world. The EPA leads the nation’s environmental science, research, education, and assessment efforts, while working to protect our health and our environment. Fellowships will be based at various EPA offices, most of which are located in the Washington, DC Headquarters, but may also be located in any of EPA’s laboratories or regional offices throughout the country. The fellowship positions are full-time training opportunities for one year beginning in Late-October or early-November 2021.

To be eligible for the programs, applicants must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents of the US, and also must have graduated with a masters or doctoral degree from a CEPH-accredited, ASPPH-member institution within the last five (5) years.
