Save the Date: Nebraska Infectious Diseases Conference 2026

Mark your calendars—Nebraska’s premier gathering for infectious disease professionals is back on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Beardmore Event Center in Bellevue. This year brings something new: a fully co-hosted event uniting the Nebraska Infectious Diseases Society (NIDS) and Nebraska Antimicrobial Stewardship Assessment and Promotion Program (Nebraska ASAP), combining the annual NIDS meeting with the Nebraska Antimicrobial Stewardship Summit.

It’s a chance to connect with colleagues, explore emerging research, and strengthen stewardship efforts across the region. More details, including agenda highlights and registration information, will be shared soon. For now, save the date and get ready for a powerful day of learning and collaboration.

Here’s what you can expect at this year’s meeting:

  • Infectious diseases experts across the spectrum of our specialty: infection prevention/hospital epidemiology, antimicrobial stewardship, pediatric infections, public health, microbiology/pathology/laboratory medicine, and more!
  • Outstanding trainee oral and poster presentations
  • Opportunities to network with exhibitors and learn about what’s new in industry
  • Annual Business Meeting (Members only)
  • Delicious food and snacks throughout the day
