Residents, faculty attend NAFP meeting

The Nebraska Academy of Family Physician’s 73rd Annual Meeting & Scientific Assembly was held March 25-27 at the Embassy Suites La Vista Hotel and Conference Center.  Department of Family Medicine residents participated in both oral and poster presentations at the annual meeting. Faculty members Dr. T. Jason Meredith and Dr. Timothy Malloy also presented to attendees.

Dr. Hay named Interprofessional Education Scholar

Department of Family Medicine Associate Professor Dr. William Hay was name the Interprofessional Education Scholar for the 2020-21 Academic Affairs Impact in Education Awards. This award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to interprofessional education locally, regionally or nationally. Dr. Hay serves as director of the UNMC SHARING Clinics.
