Khandalavala to receive Outstanding Faculty Mentor of Junior Faculty Award

Congratulations to Family Medicine Associate Professor, Dr. Birgit Khandalavala, for being named Outstanding Faculty Mentor of the Junior Faculty.

The award will be presented at the annual Faculty Senate Awards ceremony on April 23 where UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., will give his annual address to the faculty.

Dr. Khandalavala joined the Department of Family Medicine faculty in 2012 and is also a co-founder of the Department of Family Medicine Research Mentorship Committee.

Well done, Dr. Khanadalavala!
