Family Medicine students, faculty get cooking

College of Medicine students Abby Riese and Justis Stolz took class to the kitchen during a nutrition elective.

The nutrition elective class, a collaboration between the Family Medicine Department and the Dietetics Department, allowed fourth year medical students a day at Metropolitan Community College for a vegetable cooking lab.

Assistant Professor, Dr. Susan Evans provided support for the day at the culinary school. The day also included a lecture in vitamins and minerals.
