The Department of Family Medicine gathered on Sunday, June 25 for the annual graduation banquet, held at Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha.
Faculty, staff, residents, and their families came together to celebrate the accomplishments of our 2017 graduating residents in a program led by Residency Program Director Kimberly Jarzynka, MD; Rural Track Residency Program Director Jeff Harrison, MD; and Offutt Air Force Base Residency Program Director Heidi Gaddey, MD.
Family Medicine also recognized some special guests in attendance including, Col. Jill Scheckel, 55th Medical Group Commander, Col. Mark Anderson, 55th Medical Operations Squadron Commander, Dr. Chandra Are, Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education at UNMC, and Vicki Hamm, Administrative Director of Graduate Medical Education at UNMC.
