On January 6, Andrea “Drea” Jones, MD, will begin seeing patients at the Baker Place clinic.
Dr. Jones is a UNMC graduate, a Family Medicine resident alum, and joined the UNMC faculty in November.
Her professional areas of interest include underserved communities, preventative medicine, childhood obesity, and adolescent health.
When asked about her philosophy of care Dr. Jones says “As a Family Medicine physician, I am committed to practicing evidence-based medicine and serving a broad population, particularly underserved communities. I strive to be a patient advocate and work towards equal access to healthcare. ”
Dr. Jones and her husband Patrick have two daughters, Zora and Mavis.
