The 3rd Annual Wellness Day for the Department of Family Medicine residents took place on Wednesday, December 18. Planned by the Resident Wellness Committee and faculty advisor, Dr. Jessica Koran, the day included a range of activities.
The day kicked off with Assistant Professor Dr. Sue Evans who gave a lecture on Didactic – Nutrition and then Mindful Chocolate Tasting with Dr. Koran. Residents then enjoyed ice skating, yoga, spin class, dodge ball, and blindfolded gingerbread house making. Other activities available included cookie decorating and make your own stress ball.
The day finished with a holiday luncheon and trivia game hosted in the department with staff, faculty, and residents.
