Annual FMIG event hosts NAFP

The first official Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) event of the academic year on September 27 hosted representatives from the Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians (NAFP).

NAFP President and UNMC Department of Family Medicine Assistant Professor, Dr. Aaron Lanik, and NAFP Membership Chair, Dr. Robert Wergin, spoke about NAFP and AAFP membership as well as what it is like to be a practicing Family Medicine physician.

The 2018-2019 Family Medicine Interest Group officers were also recognized by Dr. Lanik for their efforts at UNMC.
