SHARING says farewell to Dr. Medder

Dr. Jim Medder’s 20 years of service to the SHARING clinics was celebrated by members of the SHARING faculty committee. As one of the founding faculty of SHARING, Dr. Medder staffed over 1000 SHARING clinics and provided continuity care between patient visits.

While the clinics started with only a handful of students, under his leadership it has grown to an important part of the interprofessional student and faculty experiences at UNMC. The SHARING medical clinic offered about 1000 student experiences per year.

The SHARING faculty would like to thank him for his service. He will be missed.
