Kaiser Permanente is pleased to offer Postgraduate Fellowships in Healthcare Administration in Northern and Southern California beginning in July 2014. The fellowship programs provide broad exposure to the opportunities and challenges present when managing a large, fully integrated, health maintenance organization. Students graduating in December 2013 or later are eligible to apply.
Fellows have the opportunity to participate in planning their program curriculum with the support and commitment of senior leaders in the organization. In addition to the consistent exposure to and support from KP executives, fellows work on a variety of projects throughout the three entities of the organization: the medical group, hospitals, and health plan. Whether implementing an initiative with clinicians at a local medical center or developing business line strategies for a particular region, the project work has been critical in developing fellows for leadership positions in health care administration.
This year, we are pleased to announce that we are holding Information Sessions via WebEx so that interested students have the opportunity to learn more about our fellowship and interact with current fellows. We hope that your students will join us at one of the two sessions we are offering on September 4th at 9:30 AM and September 11th at 12 PM. Please note that separate applications should be submitted for the Northern and Southern California Regions. The application deadline is October 1, 2013. Earlier submissions are strongly encouraged. Our selection process moves quickly; therefore we ask that your students, if selected, be available for telephone interviews in mid-October and onsite interviews in late October.
