Provide coordination of program-specific activities to support the Deputy Director with the achievement of the statewide Nebraska Area Health Education Center (AHEC) program’s mission. This will include conducting and/or assisting with program planning and communication, budget creation and maintenance, data collection and management, as well as complex administrative support for the program.

The AHEC program a statewide health workforce development initiative with a mission to improve health by recruiting, training and retaining healthcare professionals in underserved communities through academic-community partnerships.

This position works closely with other AHEC, UNMC, and external contacts to support the complex programmatic and administrative activities of the AHEC program.
