Temple University’s College of Public Health is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated professionals for non-tenure track instructional faculty positions in the areas of Health Information Management/Health Informatics and Health Policy and Management. The open positions are part of the College’s Department of Health Services Administration and Policy

- Professionals with recent experience with HIM/HI systems and knowledge who hold a master’s degree (doctorate preferred) in a Quantitative Analysis discipline
- Applicants who are certified as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or those who have a certification from American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) are highly desirable
- Applicants should be experienced in a range of HIT including, for example, hands on work with EHR systems, large-scale technology implementations, data management, cybersecurity, and analytics
- Applicants should have a working knowledge of clinical, operations and research workflows within current health system environments, with emphasis on the AHIMA competency domains

Instructional Faculty in Health Policy and Management (All Ranks) [temple.us14.list-manage.com]
- Passionate professionals committed to training the next generation of practitioners and researchers with the ability to teach courses such as Fieldwork, Advocacy, and Leadership and Management
- Earned doctorate in public health (PhD or DrPH) or an MPH with at least 5 years of public health practice experience
- Ideal candidate will have experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students

- Schedule MPH/PhD courses, coordinate PhD faculty advisors, develop workshops, journal clubs and other professional development, participate in student recruitment/admissions and teach courses
- Earned doctorate in public health (PhD or DrPH) with at least 5 years of public health or health services administration experience
- Experience teaching graduate students at the master’s and doctoral levels
