NE DHHS Project Coordinators (short term)

The DHHS Division of Operations is currently seeking four (4) motivated and self-driven individuals to assist with a critical sub-project for the Integrated Health and Human Services (IHHS) initiative as Temporary Project Coordinators. The length of these four (4) temporary positions will range from 4 months, up until 1 year. Please indicate your preference in length of assignment on your application.Examples of Work

• Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures. • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings. • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings. • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings. • Ensuring project deadlines are met. • Determining project changes and supporting the project change control process. • Providing administrative support as needed. • Undertaking project tasks as required. • Developing project strategies. • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable. • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution. • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members. • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.Qualifications / Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: Experience in office, administrative, technical, or support work; or in identifying budget, staff, or equipment needs; or in collecting and interpreting statistical, financial, program, or administrative data; or in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, and processes; or in reviewing and evaluating administrative records and reports; or in supervising office or technical staff. OR Post high school coursework/training in: administration, management, accounting, finance, planning, policy analysis, administrative/management analysis, operations research, program evaluation, or similar fields.

PREFERRED: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study and at least three (3) years of relevant experience is preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Project and Outlook. • Knowledge in file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures. • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
