Responsible for vaccine preventable disease (VPD) surveillance including but not limited to the development and implementation, coordination, support, and strengthening of the statewide VPD outbreak and case-based surveillance program to effectively meet the demands for timely, population-based surveillance information that will support the evaluation of vaccine impact and VPD prevention efforts.
