The UNMC Local Chapter of the American Physician Scientists Association (APSA) is hosting a Research Fair to highlight the current research laboratories at UNMC for both current and prospective students in the area. The goal of this event is to expose students to research opportunities at UNMC, encourage students to participate in research both now and in the future, and facilitate networking between students and researchers to catalyze research projects.
The fair will take place on December 7th from 4:30-6:30 pm in the Truhlsen
Event Center. We plan to run the
fair as an interactive poster session. Labs are encouraged to bring a poster.

Additionally, we are trying to put together a
comprehensive list of laboratories and mentors that would be interested in
mentoring students (graduate, medical, nursing, PA, COPH, summer
undergraduates, etc.). Therefore, if you are unable to attend the fair, but
would be open to mentoring students, please fill out the form (indicating you
are interested but unable to attend the event) so that we can include you in the list of
prospective mentors.
