The High School Alliance program at UNMC is currently looking for students interested in teaching some lectures for the Biology and Prevention of Cancer course.

The topics needing filled are:

Oncogenes + tumor suppressor genes

Genomic integrity and cancer development

Tumor microenvironment (dialogue between different cell types)

Angiogenesis (ensuring tumor maintenance)

Cancer immunology

Metabolism and Cancer

The class sessions are typically an hour in length. Please direct further questions to keenan.hartert@unmc.edu.
