Free International folkdance lessons!
Sunday Afternoons: March 4, 11, 18, 25
2:00-3:00 P.M. ROOM 239 H&K BUILDING/WELLNESS CENTER at UNO
Participants will learn and practice dances from a variety of cultures. Expand your horizons with world music and new ways of moving. Most of the dances are done in lines or circles, so you don’t need to bring a partner. Class content is flexible: if you would like to learn a particular type of dance, from a certain country or ethnic group, we will try to accommodate requests. No dance background necessary. Wear clean, soft-soled, non-marking shoes and comfortable clothing. 4-week session is FREE! Drop-ins welcome – attend one class or all of them. Bring a friend.
