Bridge to Care is an interdisciplinary student-run organization that seeks to facilitate positive health care outcomes for recently resettled refugees. They are currently preparing for their upcoming Refugee Health Fair and they need volunteers!
The health fair is on June 24 from 10 am to 2 pm and will take place at the Joslyn Art Museum. There will be a volunteer orientation on June 17 from 10 to 11:30 am. There are several volunteer options available including providing health education to help refugee families navigating the many booths available. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Kara Babcock at kara.babcock@unmc.edu.
