Please join the Psychiatry Interest Group for Mind Your Mind week, the student mental health awareness week January 19th – 22nd. We will be having activities throughout the week that raise awareness of mental health on campus. Keep an eye on your email for daily updates and tips on staying healthy when you’re stressed!
Tuesday, January 17th
Dr. Wengel will be presenting on student mental health and techniques to combat stress during the noon hour in MSC 2014. Lunch will be provided and there will be an opportunity to sign up for free massages!
Wednesday, January 18th
Dr. Khan will be presenting on resiliency and relaxation techniques in MSC 2014. Lunch will be provided and there will be an opportunity to sign up for free massages!
Movie Night! We will be screening Lars and the Real Girl at 5:30 in MSC 2014, followed by a short discussion of the film with Dr. Hwang. Pizza will be provided!
Thursday, January 19th
Pet therapy in the MSC 2nd floor atrium at 12 p.m
15 minute massages from 12 to 2 p.m. for those who signed up at the lunches

Saturday, January 21st
Christina Roberts will be hosting a free spin class for UNMC students at 3pm at Lotus House of Yoga in Aksarben.
