It's a boy!
William Nicholas Dolphens was born to PA faculty member, Tami Dolphens on April 6, 2013. William was 7 pounds, 14oz and 20.5″ long. Mother and baby are doing well. Congratulations to the Dolphens family!

PA students receive scholarships!
During last week’s Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants (NAPA) Annual CME Conference in Kearney, five UNMC PA students each received $1,000 scholarships. Clinical Perfusion alumnus, Kellen Goldberg, is mentoring current perfusion student, Kelly Cole, during the very first heart transplant at the brand new hospital, Children’s of Alabama. Children’s just received their individual accreditation since splitting from the University of Alabama. Take note of Kellen’s Nebraska brand (his hat) to the transplant!
