Advance your technology with the DOD Seminar

Reminder, please join us June 24th (12-1PM) as we hear from Barry Datlof, the Chief of Business Development and Commercialization at U.S. Army Medical Research & Development Command (USAMRDC), will discuss how you can advance your research and technology with the Department of Defense (DoD). Mr. Datlof serves as an advocate for developing researchers’ technologies and provides researchers with guidance on identifying and navigating potential funding opportunities in the DoD. 2021 Symposium on Substance Use Research Call for Presentations & Posters

We are excited to announce that the Symposium on Substance Use Research will be hosted digitally in 2021! This virtual symposium provides an opportunity for those working in the areas of substance use to share their original research. 

Starting June 30, 2021, we will be pleased to accept abstracts for short research presentations and poster sessions.

Research Town Hall set for Friday, May 14th

The UNMC Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research will host a virtual Research Town Hall webinar on Friday, May 14, from 11 a.m.-noon, to provide researchers with a status update on the following:

  • Masking and social distancing in research spaces;
  • Summer Undergraduate Research Program students and caveats;
  • Other volunteers and international scholars;
  • New National Institutes of Health “Biosketch” and “Other” support pages;
  • COVID related research forms and processes; and
  • New IRB fees.
