NIH High-Risk, High-Reward Research Program: novel funding opportunities & webinars

Four types of NIH awards announced, with webinars available for more information.

The High-Risk, High-Reward Research program supports exceptionally creative scientists pursuing highly innovative research with the potential for broad impact in biomedical, behavioral, or social sciences within the NIH mission. None of these programs requires preliminary data or a detailed experimental plan. What is required is a great idea and compelling logic of how it might be achieved. The program’s four constituent NIH Director’s awards provide a diverse set of funding opportunities. See the individual award websites for more information and application help.

The NIH Common Fund will hold pre-application interactive Q&A webinars for these funding opportunities. NIH staff will discuss the funding opportunities and answer questions from prospective applicants. Preregistration for the webinar is required.
