On September 27 at noon, McGoogan Library is co-sponsoring a special guest speaker with the COM Dean’s Office, COM Department of Surgery, and the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Dr. Hassan A. Tetteh (flyer attached) will present on Embracing Diversity for Improved Health Outcomes.
Dr. Tetteh’s noon presentation will address diversity-related challenges in general for our institution, how health outcomes are effected, and explore ways to address challenges.
McGoogan Library is also hosting a National Library of Medicine (NLM) exhibit in Wittson Hall 6th floor entitled, Opening Doors: Contemporary African American Academic Surgeons.
