Tim Loeffel (2nd year CPE student) and Courtney Petersen (1st year CPE student) were invited speakers at the Wisconsin Perfusion Society meeting held at the Wisconsin Dells, WI the weekend of April 20-22. They represented UNMC/SAHP/CPE proudly as they presented their research projects. Timothy Loeffel’s presentation was titled, “The Application of EP67 in Senescent Whole Blood and the Concomitant Immunologic Response,” and Courtney Petersen’s presentation was titled, “Origin of Lifespan of Platelets for Transfusion.”
