Medical Nutrition receives approval for demonstration program

Medical Nutrition received the formal approval for their Future Education Model Graduate Degree (FG) Program. In December, UNMC Today ran a detailed story about the program and now it’s official.

Said CAHP dean Kyle Meyer, PhD, “Their strategic vision of the medical nutrition faculty to develop the new professional master’s program and their diligence in preparing the application for the FG program, after having just completed their accreditation site visit, paved the way for this tremendous success.

The CAHP applauds their pursuit of excellence and appreciates the work the faculty have done on behalf of the program, the students and the profession.”

CAHP  executive associate dean Greg Karst, PhD, added, “I congratulate the program for taking this pioneering step into the future of Medical Nutrition education.”
