Library closing for July 4 holiday

The library will be closed on Friday July 3 and Saturday July 4 in observation of Independence Day. The library will reopen on Sunday July 5 at 1pm and follow the regular summer schedule.

Several books have recently been added to the library’s collection. Most can be checked out with a UNMC or affiliates employee photo ID badge. Consumer health titles may be checked out by anyone with a valid Nebraska drivers license or ID or out-of-state persons being treated at The Nebraska Medical Center or Children’s Hospital. A […]

Leisure reading area moved

The leisure reading area in the library has moved from the 7th to the 6th floor. When entering the library, go left past the New Books and Consumer Health shelving to find an assortment of newspapers and magazines.

Summer hours now in effect

Summer hours are now in effect: Monday – Thursday: 7:30a-9:00p Friday: 7:30a-9:00p Saturday: 10:00a-6:00p Sunday: 1:00p-9:00p Also, please note that the doors to Wittson Hall are now being locked at 8:30p, but an authorized UNMC ID can be used for entry.
