Library gets mobile and social

In the past few weeks, you may have noticed new icons appearing on the library’s website. We have been hard at work rolling out new services and contact points for you! Here’s what we’ve been up to:

  1. Text Us: Now you can send a question to the Reference Desk via text message. Questions will be answered Monday – Friday, between 8am and 5pm. Add us to your contacts list with 402-427-0836 (the 402 is necessary)
  2. Social networking: Keep up-to-date with library news and happenings by following us on Twitter @mcgooganlibrary or becoming our fan on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/mcgooganlibrary.
  3. Mobile website: More and more of our online resources are being formatted for mobile devices. We’ve created a website with these links, plus more! Check out resources such as STAT!Ref and MDConsult mobile and even send us an email. Bookmark us on your smartphone http://www.unmc.edu/library/m/
