Importance of Networking

No matter what profession you are in, networking is important. You can network by attending conferences and events, but also serving on local, state, and national boards, councils, and societies.

Take a listen to this week’s thoughts from Randy Heibel, DDS, MAGD, ABGD, CDR (ret.), U.S. Navy Dental Corp. ’78

“I’ve met so many different kinds of people, simply by going to meetings of different kinds and being involved…and they have helped me grow a great deal.  It’s great to get together with people and compare notes.”

And for any of you #unmcalumni dentists out there, next week is the Rocky Mountain Dental Conference in Denver–what a great opportunity to learn, grow, and network! PS: you can even attend a dental alumni event with special guest, College of Dentistry Dean, Janet M. Guthmiller, DDS, PhD. For more information, send an email to kat.hamilton@unmc.edu.
