Denny Strauss, MD ’68 realized early on, while in medical school, how being involved and giving back through time, talent, and treasure impacted his ability to attend UNMC. That is why, when he was in a position to give back, he did so and found that he really could “have an impact on the University, the students, and the alumni. I found it gratifying that I could make a difference–that was a big part of it–knowing that what we were doing really counted.”
