A New Way to Set Those New Year’s Resolutions

If you have a goal for 2020 that involves your wellness, think of it more as a smart goal and make sure that it is specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time sensitive. Here is an example:

Old way of thinking: I want to lose weight this year.

Smart goal way of thinking: I want to lose 10 pounds in 3 months.

If you want to change a habit, it is easier if you change an old habit to a new habit. Look to make small, incremental changes.
