Jana Wells, MS, RD, LMNT, CNSC, is a new assistant professor in the medical nutrition program. Here’s more about Jana in her own words:
I was born and raised in St. Paul, Nebraska and have lived in Omaha for the past 6 years. I have had the pleasure of working at Nebraska Medicine since 2017 as a medical nutrition therapist, and am so excited for the transition opportunity to transition to an academic position. I am currently completing my PhD through UNMC with an expected graduation date of May, 2021.
Outside of work (and homework) I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, Angel, family, and friends. I like to cook, watch my houseplants grow, and travel as much as possible.
