Radiography student, Kaylee Samway, receives scholarship

Kaylee Samway, Radiography (soon to be senior), earned the Jim and Marcia Elder Family Endowed Radiology Scholarship* from CHI Health Good Samaritan. She was honored at a luncheon banquet with the other scholarship recipients.

Kaylee is working on her bachelors degree in radiography at the UNMC College of Allied Health Professions in Kearney. She moved to Kearney so that she could move forward with her education and specialize in magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography. Kaylee’s educators say she is incredibly mature, learns quickly, is very friendly, and they are extremely impressed that she has made a great impression on the staff as well as her fellow students. They also say she is professional, and a top performer.

Congratulations, Kaylee!

*Family and friends of Jim Elder, former Good Samaritan Hospital Radiology employee, have established this endowed scholarship in Jim’s memory to benefit individuals pursuing a career in radiography.
