We welcome Tami Ritsema, MPH, MMSc, PA-C, in the new faculty position of academic/research coordinator. Her clinical experience includes emergency medicine and neurology. She is an avid researcher, with interests in international PA workforce issues quality improvement in health care, and public health implications of diseases such as HIV.
Tami comes to us from the Baltimore/DC area but has family roots in Michigan, which she still calls home. She’s happy to return to the Midwest. Her hobbies including cooking/baking, history, and singing. Tami joins the PA Program to support the increasing responsibilities associated with the program’s growing enrollment, teaching in the areas of her medical expertise and clinical inquiry. She will also support the program as it develops its research agenda. She is an avid sports fan, but we’ll need to work with her on her Michigan loyalties.
So excited to have you join our team, Tami.
Welcome aboard, Tami! As a fellow transplant to the area, I am available to share the wonderful places & tips I have discovered. Looking forward to working with you on all things “travel” (again)!
