8th floor computer cluster closing

The computer cluster on the eighth floor of the library will close on September 30th. It will be converted into the temporary home of a developing UNMC Center for e-Learning.  Here faculty and their collaborators (including interested students) will be provided with the tools necessary to begin creating new e-Learning materials.

The computer cluster on the 6th floor will remain. Five computers will be added to the cluster, making for 11 workstations.  The additional computers will be added in the next few weeks. In addition to these 11 computers, the library also has 16 public computers that can be used by faculty, staff and students for a total of 27 computers on the 6th Floor. Note: These 16 computers are connected to a printer, but if you print, there is a charge.

All other campus computer clusters will continue to be available.
