August
Student event: The library’s open house is August 29 from 11-2 on all floors of the library. Get information about library services, spaces, and partners. Snacks and the sensory room will also be available.
September
The library is hosting a traveling exhibit from the National Library of Medicine called “Life and Limb: the Toll of the American Civil War.” The exhibit will be on display on level 8 of the library from September 25-November 4.
October
Meet the curator and see new additions to the library’s midwifery rare book collection. The rare books librarian will showcase items on October 4 on level 8 of the library from 11-1 and virtually on October 5 from 12-1.
November
Monica Schmidt, MA, LMHC, IADC, will discuss Sherlock Holmes and the DSM-VI in a virtual talk. Watch for details in early Fall.
December
Student event: As always, there will be snacks at the library during Destress Week.
