Recently, the clinical perfusion program had its very first cardiac and vascular anatomy immersive lab. They provided a traditional didactic lecture and then paired it with an immersive experience at iEXCEL.
Perfusion Instructor Nicole Insinger was vital in the development of this expanded educational platform with direct collaboration between iEXCEL and the College of Allied Health Professions.
Program Director Scott Sanderson said, “I am so proud of this strategic utilization of campus resources and direct campus collaboration to promote a diverse learning platform for our students. The creativity in pairing traditional instruction with this immersive technology is an exciting opportunity to be able to offer our students an enhanced learning experience.”
