Clinical perfusion student Halle Swann garnered first place for the 2018 Ken Farmer Memorial Scholarship at the Sanibel Symposium perfusion meeting in Fort Myers, FL on April 7, 2018. Swann presented a unique case experience from Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha entitled “Dual Arterial Cannulation for Aortic Arch Repair in an Infant- Avoiding Deep Hypothermic Circulatory Arrest.”
