Congratulations to the following students and faculty in physical therapy education:
Taylor Majerus, PT2, was chosen as one of two physical therapy students nationwide to receive a Federal Section Scholarship to attend the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting in Indianapolis in February. The APTA anticipates more than 10,000 physical therapy professionals to attend the meeting.
Troy Goetsch, PT3, has been selected to receive an Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy Student Award for Geriatric Research 2015.
Dawn Venema, PT, PhD, assistant professor in physical therapy education, will be the recipient of the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy Excellence in Geriatric Research Award 2015.
Goetsch and Venema will be presented with their awards at the academy’s awards ceremony on February 5th, in Indianapolis, held in conjunction with the APTA’s Combined Sections Meeting.
