Sara Mottl, MLS(ASCP)CM, LSSGB, recently joined our faculty in the Medical Laboratory Science program. Here’s more about Sara in her own words:
I attended Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska, where I earned my Associate’s degree before continuing my education at the University of Cincinnati, where I completed my Bachelor of Science. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of laboratory roles, including as a generalist, microbiologist, and laboratory manager. I also taught at Central Community College, where I discovered how much I enjoy helping students learn and grow. I’m excited to be teaching in the MLS program and look forward to sharing my real-world experiences with future laboratory professionals.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me chasing around my four-year-old son, Jase, who keeps life fun and busy! I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking or fishing, and I also enjoy baking and making memories with my family.
