Diana Ramirez, SCT (ASCP), recently joined our diagnostic cytology faculty. Here’s more about Diana in her own words:
I am originally from Cairo, Nebraska, and I began my educational journey at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2022. From there I knew I wanted to continue my education in healthcare and applied for the diagnostic cytology program in Omaha. I recently graduated with my Masters in Diagnostic Cytology this past fall 2024. I have learned so much from the faculty at UNMC and from my clinical rotation sites across the United States. I am excited to continue my career in academia and to give back to my program.
I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.
