Associate Professor Lesley Gilmer, PhD, recently joined our team in Kearney as Director of Anatomy in the Department of Allied Health Professions Education, Research, & Practice. Here’s more about Dr. Gilmer in his own words:
I’m interested in mitochondrial bioenergetics, and the effects of injury and age on those organelles. I’m passionate about anatomy and neuroanatomy, as they are the foundation of all health-care professions, and I’m always looking for new educational approaches to delivering anatomical content, making it easier for students to understand clinically relevant anatomy.
