Melissa Soester, PhD, PA-C, is the recipient of the Pat and Susan McClaughry Physician Assistant (PA) Excellence in Teaching Award for the PA graduating class of 2023. Dr. Soester serves as the Research Director for the PA program and is a valuable member of the clinical education team. An esteemed alumna of UNMC, she has been an integral part of the faculty since 2021.
